Rockbeare Manor Wedding

One of my favourites of the year was the marriage of leading opera singer Niall Anderson with his sweetheart Hannah. This traditional church wedding ticked all the boxes with choir present in full song and the brides father Commander Brian Boxall-Hunt looking splendid in full naval uniform. After the ceremony the couple were driven away in a lovely 1930’s Citroen to the reception at Rockbeare Manor, Exeter where guests were welcomed by a Scottish piper.

Drinks and canapes were enjoyed on the lawns while the young ones enjoyed giant Jenga. Guests were ushered into the lovely main function room for the reception which was started with the cutting of the cake courtesy of the father of the brides sword. Very traditional. Some very well written speeches followed and the party started soon after. A great time was most definitely had by all.
