Like a lot of videographers and photographers whose journeys started many years ago I am true to form. Helping my grandad develop his negatives and print in his dark room? Tick. Learning about photography on an old SLR film camera? Tick. Making short films on a Super 8 cine camera? Tick!

I even tried to get a job with the BBC as a cameraman after college but failed. So instead I ended up in marketing where I was for a long time until I discovered weddings. Weddings are a bit of a passion for me. I strive to make every film the perfect film. I study other videographers, watch a lot of street photography and consume a lot of general film making stuff. Apart from that my others loves are rugby (watching not playing - I like my bones in the order they are currently in), Formula 1 and, of course, my wife and kids.

I’ve been told I’m quite funny and I’d like to think I’m very friendly and approachable. I’ve had some lovely emails from couples after their wedding day…

HI, I’M MATT

A huge thank you for your hard work yesterday, many people have commented on how kind and great you and Mark were.

Also thank you for everything on the day itself as well, one of the guests noticed how hard you were working
— Laura.H

I think that’s enough about me. It’s not about me. It’s about you! So I’ll stop rambling and hope to hear from you.
