Hedsor House Wedding

After a long hiatus it's great to be filming weddings again. And what an incredible venue to start with. Hedsor House sits in 100 acres near Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Regarded as one of the most luxurious wedding venues in the UK by the likes of Harpers Bazaar and Tatler, Hedsor House has been used many times as a film set including The Crown.

The Royal Bridal Suite is one of the largest suites in Europe. The bathroom is the best bit with a chandelier hanging in the shower! Mark Ronson celebrated his birthday here, and London's party set recently descended upon the house for it's annual summer party - Arizona Muse, Lydia and Irene Forte, Marissa Montgomery, Olivia Inge, Pips Taylor and Arielle Free.

Toby and Poonam, who both work in the film industry, had postponed their wedding twice already so this really was a case of third time lucky. Despite a Covid restricted 30 guests the day certainly didn't lack love, laughter and a great atmosphere. Thankfully the sun shone following the wettest May on record.

The day's filming started off in the grand bridal suite which is in every sense of the word very grand indeed. The ceremony, accompanied by a violinist, was in the Centre Hall followed by drinks outside on the terrace. This was a very swish affair - a pianist provided the music for their first dance while the bar tenders served cocktails in the Willingdon Bar. The party went on into the wee small hours and was most certainly a day to remember for everyone.
